Revo SR-1500 Overview

This SR-1500 Dual Grip Shoulder Support Rig from Revo improves the stability of your handheld shots by adding a shoulder pad and handgrips to your camera setup. Whether you're shooting with small HDSLR cameras or larger camcorders, the SR-1500 provides the support and versatility to fit your needs. It features a shoulder pad, handlebar, dual handgrips, and a rod clamp. A pair of 22" 15mm rods come included.

Built to work with 15mm support rods, each component of the SR-1500 rig can be attached and positioned independently of each other, letting you create a solution that is right for you. Choose to use the components with the included 22" 15mm rods or with any existing 15mm rod setup you have. You can also attach any standard 15mm rod accessory mount to add articulating arms, external monitors, batteries, recorders, and other accessories to your rig.

To mount your camera, attach it to the rod clamp via the 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 threaded screws and then slide it onto the 15mm rods. The handgrips feature a foam rubber design for added comfort and can be attached to the handlebar or directly to the 15mm rods. The handlebar's off-set design allows for natural hand placement, and it can be flipped to for left or right shouldered configurations. For mounting the rig to a tripod or tripod plate, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes are available on the bottom of the shoulder pad.

Nice Budget Shoulder Rig

This is my first shoulder rig, so I don't have lots of experience, but it seems like a good starter rig. The aluminum rods seem sturdy. I like the multiple mounting screws on the plates. I'm not sure how long the shoulder pad will last, but it's fairly comfortable for now. I do wish the rods that the handles mount to were removable, but what can I expect for the price? Overall I hope to get a lot of use out of this.

Arrived Defective, manufacturer/distributor doesn't care.

Arrived defective but I didn't find out until after my 30 days was up at B&H. They told me to call the company. I did. She said to email them. I did. Twice. They did not respond. The problem, the tightening screw to hold the handle bar assembly to the main rails doesn't. Very dissatisfied.
