Renowned audio equipment manufacturer Apogee is expanding its acclaimed lineup of Symphony audio interfaces with the all-new Symphony Studio. Combining the all-in-one convenience and control of the Symphony Desktop with the powerful capabilities of Apogee’s signature interface, the Symphony Mk II, the new Symphony Studio is designed to address a wide range of studio needs and applications.
The Symphony Studio is available in 8x8, 2x12, and 8x16 configurations, each designed for a specific use case. With the 8x8 version, you get an excellent all-around studio interface designed to be the spiritual successor to the Ensemble Thunderbolt, except with higher fidelity and performance, as well as input and output DSP.
The 2x12 version is tailor-made for Atmos mixing and listening rooms where input needs are minimal, but a 7.1.4 setup is a necessity. This version also offers the lowest price of all the Symphony Studio interfaces, making it ideal for studios looking to work in Atmos without breaking the bank.
The 8x16 version offers powerful, no-frills 9.1.6 Atmos mixing for large productions. Equally adept at traditional recording and mixing, this interface provides extensive I/O for studio setups, including eight highly transparent mic preamp inputs (via XLR) and sixteen outputs via two DB-25 connectors.
All configurations in the Symphony Studio series share killer specs for modern workflows. Each version sports converters from the flagship Symphony Mk II interfaces, providing up to 24-bit/192 kHz conversion. The highly transparent mic preamps deliver 75 dB of ultraclean gain. Each model also sports two independent, zero-ohm headphone outputs.

All Symphony Studio interfaces feature input and output DSP, including speaker calibration (EQ, delay, and bass management) and a special input channel strip for convenient tracking and mixing.
When working in immersive audio formats, advanced monitoring control is a must. That’s why all Symphony Studio interfaces include Control 2 software for powering up to 16 Apogee monitor workflows. The 2x12 and 8x16 models can support up to two subwoofers as well. You can also use the optional Apogee Control hardware remote with the Symphony Studio series, exploiting the eight programmable buttons for even further control over your workflow.

Each interface features a USB-C port for plug-and-play host connections with both macOS and Windows computers. And with a deep extruded aluminum faceplate, each interface provides a stylish look that will fit into any studio environment and stand the test of time. All Symphony Studio interfaces include a power cable and a USB-C locking cable.
