Guitarists at any experience level—be you fresh-faced newbies or veteran players in continual pursuit of killer tone—should be thoroughly interested by the G11, Zoom's new flagship floorboard multi-effects processor. With more than 30 years of multi-effects units in its heritage, Zoom knows how to deliver what guitarists need for sessions in the studio, life on tour, and production at home.

For starters, the layout presents a winning combination of elements—a 5" color touchscreen that supports drag, drop, and swipe gestures, a six-knob amplifier panel, five stomp switches (each with four control knobs and a crisp display), and an expression/volume pedal. With so many things at your fingers and feet, the G11 gives you the fluid efficiency and user-friendliness that you need for programming new patches, tweaking tones, and performing live while remaining comfortable and in the zone.

When it comes to sounds, the G11 will surely keep you busy. It boasts 22 cabinet emulations with a slew of impulse responses recorded with various microphones—in assorted positions. Plus, you can use your own IRs if you want to capture the unique traits of your own cabs. Choose an amp, chain up to nine effects to it, and even integrate outboard gear via the two send/return effects loops. If you don't have external effects pedals, don't worry; the G11 is packed with classic Zoom effects plus intriguing new distortions and modulation effects.

To help you harness all its power, the G11 offers three different workflows. Use "Play by Patch" to scroll through patches easily when performing live. Switch to "Play by Effect" in the studio to reference your entire virtual pedal chain. Or opt for "Play by Bank" for quick access to patches organized in song lists. If you snag the separately available Zoom BTA-1 adapter, you can wirelessly upload and download patches, effects, and amps via Zoom's Guitar Lab app.

Additional noteworthy features include a stereo looper with up to five minutes of loop time, a built-in groove box with more than 60 patterns, and an integrated Mac-/Windows-compatible USB audio interface. There's plenty of connectivity, too. The G11 provides a 1/4" guitar input, a 3.5mm aux input, stereo 1/4" main outputs, a 1/4" headphone out, and ports for external expression and MIDI pedals.

B&H is proud to carry this mean machine, so feel free to visit our website to learn more about its intense capabilities. Grab a G11 soon and change your guitar rig for the better!
