Canon C300 Mk III and C500 Mk II
Compatible with the Canon C300 Mk III and C500 Mk II, these Tilta cage kits are built around a versatile Quick Release Baseplate, which features 15mm LWS rod support, a shoulder pad, VCT-14 plate support, and ARRI-style handgrip rosettes. The basic Cage Kit A for C300 Mk III & C500 Mk II also includes a pair of 8" rods, a U-shape top plate that accommodates the camera handle, and a rear plate. Stepping up to the Cage Kit B for C300 Mk III & C500 Mk II (Gold Mount) or V-Mount version adds a 10" lightweight dovetail plate, a 19mm rod adapter plate, a D-Tap to 4-pin XLR cable, and a Gold or V-mount battery plate, respectively, to the Kit A items. The Cage Kit C for C300 Mk III & C500 Mk II (Gold Mount) and V-Mount version are the crème-de-la-crème of the lot, adding both a follow focus system and a 4 x 5.65" clip-on matte box to the Kit B components.
Panasonic BGH1
To protect and add accessory mounts to your LUMIX BGH1 box-style 4K camera, check out Tilta’s Full Cage for BGH1. It may appear basic at first glance, but this front-mounted cage provides two NATO rails, two shoe mounts, two ARRI-style handgrip rosettes, and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory and tripod threads. The Cage Kit A for BGH1 adds a right-side wooden handgrip, a shoe-mount monitor bracket, and both Arca- and Manfrotto-style quick release baseplates. Next up in the collection is the Cage Kit B for BGH1, which includes a top handle and a lens adapter support plus the Kit A items. Cage Kit C for BGH1 ups the ante with a 15mm LWS baseplate and rods, a run/stop handle compatible with the separately available Nucleus Nano focus motor, and, of course, the Kit B components.
Sony FX3 and FX6
FX3: The Sony FX3 camera’s sleek and compact design makes it lightweight and easy to handhold but for all-day or rugged shoots; use a Tilta cage kit to add easier gripping, a protective skeleton, and accessory mounting. The Tilta Sony FX3 Basic Kit pairs a full camera cage, a top handle, a universal 15mm LWS baseplate, and 8” rods. If you want the convenience of a run/stop trigger handle, grab the Sony FX3 Lightweight Kit. Based on the full cage, this kit enables use of the original Sony XLR handle and includes a run/stop side handle with cable, an HDMI extension, and a cable clamp. The Sony FX3 Pro Kit (Black) combines the components of the Basic and the Lightweight kits.
FX6: The Tilta dovetail-standard Quick Release Baseplate for Sony FX6 included in each of these kits offers 15mm LWS rod mounting, a lens adapter support, and dual ARRI-style handgrip rosettes in a compact form. The Cage for Sony FX6 (Basic Kit) consists of a multifunctional top plate with a second set of 15mm LWS brackets, a wireless video transmitter bracket, and a side cheese plate.
Larger than the FX3 but still relatively compact, the FX6 sports a more traditional cine-style form that users may want to power via a pro-style block battery. These Tilta Gold Mount and V-Mount Advanced Kits and Vertical Mount Gold Mount and V-Mount Kits include a streamlined battery plate compatible with longer-lasting batteries. A top handle and a vertical bracket round out the Vertical Mount Kits.
Z CAM
The robust Full Cage for Z CAM E2C surrounds the camera with protection while providing a shoe mount, dual ARRI-style handgrip rosettes, and multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI-style anti-twist accessory threads. The Tiltaing Z CAM E2C Kit A fleshes out the cage with an T5-SSD holder, a top handle, a 90˚ USB Type-C cable, and both Arca- and Manfrotto-style baseplates. Next up is the Z CAM E2C Kit B with all of the Kit A items plus a run/stop side power handle. At the top of the heap, you’ll find the Z CAM E2C Kit C, which provides a 15mm LWS baseplate and rod system, an additional single rod holder, and the Kit B components.
Baseplates
Nothing says pro cine-style accessory mounting like a baseplate and rod system. The Tiltaing 15mm LWS Baseplate Type V provides 15mm LWS support for the Tilta Canon C70 cage or for another camera with the same lens mount height. The versatile 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV is compatible with Tilta’s full cages for RED KOMODO, Sony FX3, and Panasonic BGH1 cameras.
So, if you love the look you get with your cine-style camera but want customized handling and easy accessory mounting, turn to Tilta. For almost any camera choice, Tilta has you covered with a range of pro accessories like camera cages, handles, baseplates, and battery plates.
