Announcing the Lume Cube Air, the follow-up to the original Lume Cube. A small daylight-balanced light, the Lume Cube Air is waterproof to 30 feet underwater, so using it in inclement weather poses no problems. It produces 400 lux at 3.2 feet, with a CRI of +/-90 for excellent color rendition, and features a beam angle of 60 degrees for a nice balance between coverage and punch. Made from thermal plastic with a rubberized coating, you can happily hold the light in your hand, or you could use the built-in 1/4"-20 mounting threads to attach it to accessory arms or other mounts. The Lume Cube Air is small enough to stash on set for an accent or kick light, and you can stick it on any ferrous surface and let the light's integrated magnet hold it fast.
You can control the brightness of the flicker-free output manually in four steps (25, 50, 75, and 100%) or set the light to create a strobe effect, blinking on and off at 2 Hz. However, using the Lume-X app (iOS/Android) and connecting to the Lume Cube Air by Bluetooth gives you dimming control from 0 to 100%, and allows you to choose between two different strobe speeds. Included accessories include white diffusion, warming diffusion, and a lanyard. The integrated battery charges via USB, so you don't need a dedicated charging station.
Ideal for use with mirrorless, DSLR, and smartphone cameras, the Lume Cube Air is a small yet powerful light fixture that has many flexible uses and can handle the extremes of wet weather for no-worry filming.
