Do you find the close focus distance limiting?
So the Minimum Focusing Distance is 10.8' / 3.3 m. So I would say so. It would really matter for what you are using these for.

hello work well for astronomy?
I have not used the Leica binoculars for that purpose. The are terrific for wildlife and birds. I dont think 7 or 8 power is adequate for astronomy.
