Will this work with Sony Alpha 7III for Super-Multi-Coated Takumar lenses f1.4/50mm? or the f.2.5/135mm? I read there is a difference between SMC and Super-Multi-Coated marked lenses.
As long as the mount is M42 and it has a manual focus mechanism, it should work!

Does this adapter have an internal flange at the end of the threading? I have a Tomioka 55mm 1.2 lens where the rear element extends inwards past the threading at 2.5 meters and I need an adapter that will allow the rear element to extend inwards beyond the M42 threading in the adapter.
This adapter has standard M42 threading, without a flange.

question
can i use this adapter for M42 mount Pentax Takumar 135 f2.5 lens on my sony a7ii? Are focus to infinity and diaphragm rings working in manual mode?
I am using this adapter for a Super-Takumar 50 f/1.4 on a A6000. I can confirm that I am able to focus to infinity. The camera does not recognize the aperture setting, but light metering works and the lens is very functional in manual, and aperture priority modes. Side note, the automatic manual focus-assist is does not work. I mapped manual-focus assist to one of the custom buttons in order to preserve the functionality.

question
Hello All, How would this work with my Sony FS7? I am getting the Canon Primes but can't afford at the moment. Should I get this.
I've used this adapter with my Pentax Takumar 55mm 1.8 M42 screw mount lens and a couple other M42 lenses as well on an FS7 for a specific look. Of course all lens functions will be manual not electronic, aperture will click-stop into detants, and Pentax focus and aperture turn opposite Canon lenses.
