question

I have the D-lite 4 kit 2 of the older models and 1 of the newer models. Will I be able to use the High speed sync or HS feature with this transmitter? Also if I'm using the lights out doors does the power pack or power source I am using cause conflict with maximum shutter speed?
Asked by: Allen J.
If you own the Elinchrom D-Lite RX 4 kit, it would be fully compatible for use with Elinchrom's Hi-Sync system. If you are using the Elinchrom D-Lite IT 4 kit, while it would be compatible with Hi-Sync, the transmitter will not display the power of the flash, and you will not have power control of the flash from the transmitter. The D-Lite RX would allow you to manually control the flash's output power from the transmitter, and would display the flash's power setting on the transmitter. The Elinchrom D-Lite kits are designed for AC power. If using a generator or power inverter, as long as the units are designed and capable to handle the power draw from the monolight kits, there should be no affect to the monolight's output.

Planning on using this flash with the ELB 400 Hi ...

Planning on using this flash with the ELB 400 Hi Sync's, but might want to use with ELB 500/1200 TTL's in future. Is this transmitter the newest model that does TTL as well? The name matches Elinchrom's listing for the newest generation transmitter that does TTL, but the video and specs BH have listed don't mention TTL. I'm guessing this might just be a lack of updating on BH's end from the "Skyport HS" older generation to this one, the Pro? Thanks in advance for any clarification you can provide
Asked by: Jeffrey
Yes. It supports TTL mode
