Pelican 915 Reviews

Cards Do Not Stay In Place. Wouldn't Recommend

I had high hopes for this little case. It's reasonably priced and lightweight with plenty of storage for SDs. Problem is (and isn't it the entire point of this case to keep cards secure?) that the cards don't stay in the slots AT ALL. Every single time I open it the cards fall out all over the place. Wish I had saved the packaging so I could've returned it. Find something else, this isn't it.

Disappointed

This is second one I purchased, forgetting the main issue why. The SD cards managed to slide out of their seated positions frequently on opening the unit. Several times onto my desk but worse could strike the ground. Not good. would be more dependable if the cards remained in their plastic cases as they came in. Have used large pelican cases when scuba diving gear and cameras needed dependable protection I could count on. thanks George W

I like this case but I like the media tank's from Angelbird better because they look cooler; but if you have more then four cards to store this is the case to get because it will hold 12 cards.

Very nice storage case for micro SD cards and their adapters. Fit is a little snug but the cards stay in place.

Great Case, but doesn't hold cards in place

I wanted to love this, but the little slots for the cards aren't secure. My SD cards are constantly popping and all come flying out when I open the case.

Cards will be protected, but they WILL fall out

It's a well made case. What you'd expect from Pelican. Howver, there is a MAJOR flaw in the way that the cards are kept in place. They kind of are supposed to fit snugly in the slots provided in the foam. But the cards fall out ALL THE TIME. Nearly every time I open the case there are some cards that are loose. This case would be absolutely perfect if it had pockets rather than slot.

Waterproof!

It's small, works great and as I found out, waterproof! Anything with the name Pelican on it is great unless its a bird.

question

Do they make one that holds 12 microSD cards. I have no use for the mini SD slots.
Asked by: Anonymous
Sorry, there no other card holders by Pelican. Here is one that will hold 10. SD Card Holder microSD 10 Slot Cardholder (Yellow) B&H # SD10SCHY. Here one that will hold 12 cards of any size however the efficacy in holding 12 microSD is open to question. The cards, once inserted, would not been seen. Lowepro S&F Memory Wallet 20 B&H # LOSFMW

Does the case have a way to identify cards that are full?
Asked by: Enrique
No, the Pelican 0915 Memory Card Case for 12 SD, 6 miniSD, and 6 microSD Cards (Black) does not have a way to indicate the state of the cards. One can use ones own system, such as flipping the cards upside down, but the case itself has no indicators.
