The ESS-EN3G Large Eyecup for Glasses for Nikon Rectangular Eyepieces from Vello is an over-sized soft, durable rubber eyecup that fits on any camera that uses the Nikon rectangular style eyepiece. Made to accommodate eyeglass users more comfortably and without obstruction of the viewfinder, the ESS-EN3G will not scratch your glasses.

Once the eyecup is placed against the eye it will block stray and extraneous light, which creates glare and prevents you from seeing the image clearly, from entering the viewfinder. Locking into place on the viewfinder, the ESS-EN3G rotates 360° for viewing with your left and right eye as well as for vertical and horizontal viewing.

I assume that since it isn't listed and it was specifically commented that it will not fit the P900, it will not fit the P1000 either. Do you offer a model that does fit the P1000?

This will not work on the P1000 and there currently isn't one that will work on the P1000. The eyecup on the P1000 does not seem to be removable.

Technically it will fit onto the Z7, however it will block the sensor for automatic switching between screen and viewfinder. So you wont have the auto switching feature, but can use it if you set the camera to only viewfinder, or only screen.

I don't have a D500, but this eyepiece fits on a D5200, and D750. You remove the stock eyepiece by lifting, or sliding it up, and the Vello eyepiece slides in reverse. The eyepiece can be easily rotated for either eye, and does a great job of shielding your eye from incident sunlight. If the LCD screen flips out, as it does on a D5200, or d750,the large rubber cup gets in the way but otherwise it is a great accessory.
