The ESC-EF Eyecup from Vello is a replacement eyepiece for select Canon cameras that provides a large, oval eyecup for more comfortable viewing through the viewfinder. The large shape of the eyecup improves the image quality in the viewfinder by sealing out extraneous light. It can rotate 360° to accommodate both the left and right eye and horizontal and vertical shooting positions. No, the Vello ESC-EF Eyeshade for Select Canon Cameras is only compatible with the Canon EOS DSLR cameras listed under the Overview on our website. The eyecup on the Canon Powershot SX50 HS Digital Camera was not designed to be removed. If it has come off and needs replacement, you would have to contact Canon directly for assistance in replacement either by calling 1-800-652-2666 or e-mailing [email protected].

Unfortunately the Vello ESC-EF Eyecup for Select Canon Cameras will not fit on the Canon EOS R5 Mirrorless Digital Camera. There is not currently an replacement eyecup available for that camera.
