I've used it with Canon 600 flashes and Godox flashes and it works with all of them . Easy to install, easy to use and it does the job. We'll see how it hold up long term, but so far so good.

I am excited to own this system. This is my first system off camera system so i have nothing to compare it with. I bought this insert for speedlites with a westcott rapid box 3 x 4 feet soft box and a beauty dish. I am therefore enjoying this off camera system. i simply love it

Excellent Insert

I love the Westcott Switch series which gives the ability for not much month different lights to use with the same device. I typically use the Westcott Beauty Dish with a Photogenics strobe, but this insert gives me the easy ability to use it with a speedlight. A great concept well executed by Westcott.

Flimsy and needs locking device

purchased this along with the small octagonal softbox. the unit turns since there is no locking device and overall feels flimsy for the price point.  Design could have been much better. not worth price point

How does the size opening of the speedlite Switch Insert compare with the rapid box duo? Particularly, will the switch insert accept TWO speedlites like the rapid box duo?
Asked by: Allen
The size of the opening allows one speedlite to be used. It is large enough to support any of the popular speedlite flash units on the market. The one exception is the Profoto A1, and we have a specific insert for that light.
