What are the Allen wrenches for?

What are the Allen wrenches for?
Asked by: Zhenyu
The Allen wrench fits into the back of the 1/4"-20 Allen set Screws that came with the cold shoe mount ball head. The cold shoe can be removed and the Allen set screw is then screwed into the Ball head base. Then the ball head can be mounted onto a Rack or clamp that does not have a cold shoe but does have a threaded 1/4"-20 hole.

Will this work with a canon r10?
Asked by: Simon
Yes, the Load capacity is 6.6 lbs. and the SmallRig Camera Hot Shoe Mount with 1/4"-20 Screw Ball Head would work with the R10 shoe. However, if you are looking to mount a Monitor a better choice would be the model listed below: SmallRig Swivel and Tilt Adjustable Monitor Mount with Cold Shoe Mount BH #SM2905B
