Will this maintain the flange distance for RX C Mount lenses?
When using the Kipon C-Mount Lens to Canon RF-Mount adapter, lenses with a proper back focus control are recommended for achieving proper focusing. Some older lenses may be incompatible as their back element may protrude too close to the sensor.

Does this adapter allow c-mount lenses to have infinity focus with the Canon EOS-R?
All this adapter is doing is making up the flange distance to allow a C-Mount lens to be mounted on an RF-Mount camera. So if the lens you have is a manual focusing lens, you should have the ability to have infinite focus.
