KIPON KONICA AR-NIK Z Reviews
Worth the price for quality
I have previously owned and used many adapters, including a number from Fotasy. Most of them worked perfectly well, but in particular my Fotasy Konica AR-Nikon Z adapter would not click into place on the lens end. That meant with heavier lenses, I always felt at risk of the lens falling off; if the lens had a stiff aperture or focusing ring, there was an even greater danger of it detaching, and other old adapter ended up unscrewing a lens from its helicoid, a total disaster in the field. No such problems with this Kipon. It is solidly constructed, the mechanics feel springy and everything is well machined. There is very minor rotational play, but the lenses click in securely and the release button is nicely sized and easy to press (cheap adapters often have sharp and nasty levers that you have to impale yourself with to release the lens). If you want an adapter for Konica to Nikon Z, this is the one to get, and it is absolutely worth it for the quality of the design and build. I would definitely look closer at Kipon's other offerings for future purchases.
