B&H has assembled this Impact C-Stand Overhead Shot Kit to offer image makers a heavy-duty support with multiple configuration options. The kit includes a 10.75' turtle base C-stand, 6" baby (5/8") pin, and a camera platform with two 5/8" receivers that mounts onto the pin to support a camera or other grip accessory overhead.
This 10.75' Impact Turtle Base C-Stand Kit, in a chrome finish, is comprised of a C-stand, 2.5" grip head, and 40" extension arm. The stand features a patented locking mechanism that allows the legs to swing out and lock into place for easy setup and collapse flat for storage. The included extension grip arm fits neatly into the stand's removable 2.5" grip head, allowing you to offset the stand and cantilever flags, gobos, or lights out of the way of the action. The stand has a low center of gravity, which allows mounting of heavy equipment without tipping. The legs are perfectly shaped for saddlebag-type sandbags. The kit is also often used as a short boom.
The Impact BHE-104 Camera Platform for Flex Arm supports lightweight cameras when used on equipment such as the Impact Flex Arm or a similar accessory. The platform features a captive, sliding 1/4"-20 camera screw and a nonslip surface. There are two 5/8" receivers for the arm or a stud.
The Impact 6" Baby Pin with Collar 1/4 and 3/8" Tap is a 6" baby pin with a collar and a tap on each end. The collar prevents the baby pin from slipping through a grip clamp and the 1/4 and 3/8" threaded sockets provide extra attachment points for lighting accessories. The 6" Baby Pin with Collar is constructed out of steel to be reliable and sturdy.
