LTE Internet Backup
The UniFi U-LTE uses the AT&T LTE network to provide backup internet connectivity and multiple data plans are available. Coverage, speed, and availability depends on the AT&T LTE network. You can attach an optional high-gain antenna for a stronger signal if needed.
Flexible Mounting Options
You can mount the UniFi U-LTE indoors or outdoors to optimize signal strength. The device includes a stand and a versatile mounting bracket.
UniFi Controller
Network Management
The UniFi Network Controller can provision UniFi devices, map networks, manage system traffic, and monitor network statistics from one interface.
Multi-Site Management
You may use a single instance of UniFi Controller running in the cloud from a centralized interface to manage multiple UniFi sites. Each site is logically separated with its own network monitoring, configuration, maps, statistics, and administrator accounts.
Switch Configuration
Access and configure any managed UniFi Switch using UniFi Controller. Its features include:
  • Operation mode (switching, mirroring, or aggregate) per port
  • Network/VLAN configuration
  • Jumbo frame and flow control services
  • Network settings
  • Storm control setting per port
  • Spanning tree configuration
  • 802.1X control and RADIUS VLAN
  • Debug terminal option for command-line interface
Switch Port Status
View the status information for each port, including:
  • Connection speed and duplex mode
  • TX/RX data rates
  • Network/VLAN setting
Detailed Analytics
Ubiquiti's Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) engine tracks which applications and IP addresses are using the most bandwidth. Additionally, UniFi Network Controller provides configurable reporting and analytics to efficiently manage user populations and speed up troubleshooting.

I have poor AT&T signal and sometimes use weBoost Home (BH #WE470144). Can I plug this UniFi appliance directly into the weBoost amp so that it can take advantage of the amplified signal with the external roof mounted antenna?
Asked by: J
This Unifi appliance is standalone in that respect. It cannot work together with the WeBoost.

I have a Dream Machine Pro, does this add a 3rd WAN, or does it replace the second wan? Can I have 3 total WANs, Primary, Secondary and Cellular with this?
Asked by: Chris
The UDM-Pro only supports two WAN's total, not three. The LTE becomes the second WAN. However the integration of the LTE is through a PoE switch-port, the UDM-Pro creates a Tunnel that acts as a Gateway to that switch-port. It should also be noted that the UDM-Pro currently (as of 12/31/20) only supports Failover mode between the Primary and Secondary WAN's. No Load Balancing. This same limitation applies to a Primary WAN and the Ubnt Failover device.

I see "works outside" in the description, but no outdoor rating. Is this device actually rated for outdoor use? If so, does anyone know the rating?
Asked by: Kenneth
Ubiquiti does not provide any outdoor ratings for this product. I would not recommend leaving it exposed to the elements.
