ARRI K2.0031435 Overview

The Bridge Plate BP-9 from ARRI interfaces with a bottom dovetail plate to balance your camera as the weight of the rig is changed (dovetail not included). The BP-8 provides 15mm studio rod support for mounting a lens support and/or accessories onto select ARRI and third-party cameras.

This bridge plate includes 3/8"-16 threaded studs and locating pins for mounting on your camera.

Note:
Not compatible with 15mm LWS-spaced accessories.

I have a Red Helium8K and a Sony FX6. Can I use it for both? If not, what will I need to buy separately?

For RED DSMC2 Cameras, you will need the Cine Plate for RED DSMC2. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1287515-REG/arri_k2_0008886_cine_plate_for_red.html ARRI does not currently have an intermediate plate for the Sony FX6 and can mount directly to the BP-9.

Would this work with the Bright Tangerine Komodo cage?

It is hard to tell because there are a variety of configurations of the Bright Tangerine Cage for the RED Komodo. The ARRI Bridge Plate BP-9 will most likely mount to the bottom of your configuration. However, I recommend using the Bright Tangerine LeftField QR Baseplate for RED KOMODO with Standard Riser/Dovetail. This item will be the most compatible with the rest of your rig and provides the same functionality.
