Tilta Seamless Focus Gear Ring (88 to 90mm)
Key Features
  • 0.8 MOD Gear for Cine Follow Focuses
  • 88 to 90mm Diameter for Focus/Zoom
  • Fully Closed and Requires No Screws
  • Even Pressure, No Drifting, Accurate
Tilta's 88 to 90mm Seamless Focus Gear Ring allows you to add 0.8 MOD gears to a compatible lens for use with cine follow focuses. This 88 to 90mm size fits virtually all lenses of the same outer diameter. The seamless version is designed with an improvement over Tilta's earlier gear rings in that it's fully closed and requires no screws in order to be secured to the lens. As a result, it attaches to the lens more easily and provides evenly distributed pressure while ensuring zero drifting and accurate focus. It's made of durable, flexible rubber, attaches firmly, and it works silently and smoothly along 360° of rotation. The MOD rating and 88 to 90mm diameter size are etched out on the inside of the ring.

Will this fit the Lumix Leica 10-25mm F/1.7 MFT and 25-50mm MFT lenses?
Asked by: Gregory
The Tilta Seamless Focus Gear Ring (88 to 90mm) would be right on the borderline, as both those lenses have a diameter of 87.6mm. I think you may be better off trying the next size down (85 - 87mm) instead, which would be a bit tighter but should provide slightly better performance.

No, this would be too small on the Sigma lens and will not fit and it also happens to be the largest size in its brand.

Would this fit the Sigma 28-45 F1.8 DG DN Art Lens on the focus and zoom rings?
Asked by: Brett
No, the Tilta Seamless Focus Gear Ring (88 to 90mm) is too large to fit the focus and zoom rings of the Sigma 28-45mm f/1.8 DG DN Art Lens. The zoom ring diameter on your lens is 82.58 mm wide, while the focus ring diameter is 86 mm. You will need the following gear rings for your lens.
