Extremely Disappointed - Both Drives Failed!

I purchased two Patriot P210 1 TB SSDs around two years ago, with high hopes, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Initially, both drives seemed to work fine (initialized and formatted without issues), but I couldn't install windows. As a secondary drive, I was able to use it, but with constant freezing and slowdowns. I thought it has to be something with my SATA ports/controller and I eventually gave up and switched to an NVMe M.2 drive, relegating the Patriot drives to backup duty. Recently, I tried connecting one of the P210 drives to transfer some files, only to find that my system wouldn’t boot past the BIOS POST screen. The same issue occurred with the second drive. After disconnecting both and reverting to my older 240GB ADATA SSD (which worked flawlessly), it became clear: these Patriot drives had failed completely. One of them had less than 11 hours total working time. Save yourself the hassle and avoid the Patriot P210. For a brand that markets itself as dependable, this experience has been a letdown. I’ll be sticking with other brands like WD or Crucial.

Dead after 1 month

I bought this drive to replace the hard drive in my desktop. Delivered 1st December, on January 4th (34 days later) it is dead. Computer will not boot. I had noticed it running slower for several days before it died but only now realize that was probably the system struggling to cope with the SSD starting to fail. This was in a desktop with plenty of space around the drive for cooling. Only time the drive was worked hard was copying my files from the original HDD. Best to find another brand.
