Linked them to our wired PortaCom system using 2 wire interface. Grouped them and they worked. Sound it clear within wireless and back and forth to wired.

I'm really impressed with this kit! Works right out of the box with no setup required. We've used this on a handful of live events, including at a couple of indoor venues with around 1,000 people in attendance. To be fair, we weren't pushing the range limit, but we had no problem at all working within about 50m of the base station at these events.
No sign of any dropouts, could always hear everyone perfectly, even during noisy performances. Build quality is great, battery life will go all day, and they include spares in the pack too.
Honestly couldn't ask for anything else, in our experience it's a great system and well worth the money.

Hollyland has become an important part of our production company. We've owned larger and more expensive versions of wireless video systems and comm systems, but things breakdown over time and need to be replaced. Hollyland is less expensive, but still provides a great product for the money. The first version of Hollyland comms we purchased was the T1000. Non-starter for us since there was no side tone. With the addition of that function, we upgraded. We wish the side tone was a little louder, but overall a solid product. The headsets feel great and have a great build quality. The antenna is beefy and the custom cut foam in the case is awesome. Very pleased with our purchase and very pleased with Hollyland!
Better than Eartec but no service

I bought this to replace an eartec system. I also have an HME system on 2.4Ghz that no longer works for me because of our building's Wifi. The build quality is close to the HME and way better than the Eartec. The range is adequate for our basketball arena and indoor Football stadium. I ended up using the internal antennas and bouncing the signal off the roof of the building.
The real problem is that one of the students broke the battery door clip. This is a replaceable part. I contacted Service and they wanted me to send the whole unit in for exchange. I asked for the part and they said they could give me a used one. I was okay with that. It has been a month. They have not sent it and they had stopped replying to my messages. Eartec was responsive and they would ship me replacements quickly.
Upgrade from the T1000 Unit

We purchased the M1 Full-Duplex system literally for sidetone. Since the T1000 does not have it, it was a major let down. The connection on both products are great. The noise reduction is good. The volume of the sidetone needs to be a little louder than the loudest setting of 3. Easy and fast to setup. Major bonus points awarded for the custom molded case it came with!
Great job Hollyland! Thank you for another great product we were able to add to our Hollyland inventory!

I've had my Solidcom M1 system for about 6 weeks now. So far it is working very well.
Sound quality is good for a budget system. Speakers are easy to understand and the volume can get very loud when necessary. It isn't CD quality, but it's far better than the other entry- or mid-level wireless intercom systems I've used. Much, much better than any less expensive system out there.
What really impressed me, though, is the range. I've used this for a half dozen events and as far as I can tell we've never had any dropouts. When I was doing range testing, I found that outdoors I could go over 600 feet from the base before experiencing any dropouts with the omnidirectional antennas, or over 1000 feet with the internal directional antenna. The signal became unusable at 1000 feet with the omnis, or 1200 feet in front of the directional antenna.
The entire system is very well made. The belt packs and most of the base station are made of a very rugged metal. They should hold up to a lot of abuse.
My only issue with these is the way that the microphones are muted and unmuted. Unlike professional systems which use Push-to-Talk buttons, this uses a push on/push off button, which is more awkward. You can raise or lower the microphone boom to mute/unmute as well, but that's also awkward as well. A simple PTT would have been much preferred, not just by me but by my camera operators. We also all felt that the horizontal orientation of the belt packs is awkward. Fortunately, this is easy to fix with just a hex screwdriver.
Having built-in 2- and 4-wire interfaces is a really nice option. That makes this system really easy to integrate into other intercom systems. I connected mine into my Dante-based system very easily with a single inexpensive cable. Users of Clear-com or similar systems will find it just as simple to add this to their existing intercom.
Bottom line is that this is the best performer at this price point. If you want good quality audio, this is the cheapest intercom system that I could possibly recommend to anyone. Everything cheaper just sounds terrible in comparison. But at the same time, more expensive systems do sound better.
Does not work with a Audio Mixer

After being told that you can plug your audio mixer video 4-wire to Dual XLR. Turns out you cannot, so the only perks of this devices are 2 way intercom, sleek look, groupings and that is all. alternatives is to have one of your 8 or 4 packs use the 3.5 trs line and wiggle the wire till you hear a sound coming from the mixer. Issue with this is the packs have noise suppression that caused the audio to go in and out.

I would have given 5 starts but am having issues upgrading the firmware. After two weeks, support did call me, but didn't have any solutions. I'm still waiting....
I would buy these again. But if I did, I would not try to upgrade the firmware for the extras features it gives.
