Love how deep these are, been using them for many years. It makes the cans much more comfortable and my ears don't hurt after wearing them all day. They do start to peel and flake after a couple years, but all headphones with this kind of material will do that. Two stars off for a change in design/manufacturing - they used to fit really snug on the Sony MDR 7506 cans, although tricky to install, is really how they should fit. But the last set I bought in 2024 are so much looser. So loose that they rotate and pop off very easily. This is disappointing, and I've searched for earpads that are comparably deep, to no avail.
Got the Auray earpads to replace my Sony MDR 7506 earpads. After several years of use the Sony earpads were falling apart. The Auray earpads are a definite upgrade and improvement over the Sony earpads. I am very happy with my purchase.
