Watson DMW-BLK22 Compact Charger Overview

This versatile Compact AC/DC Charger from Watson charges DMW-BLK22-type lithium-ion batteries via the included, dedicated battery plate. The charger runs on 100-240 VAC power, allowing for worldwide use. It features a foldout, two-prong US plug and is supplied with a European plug adapter and a 12 VDC car charger that plugs into the auxiliary power outlet. This makes it ideal for use both at home and on the road.

The Compact AC/DC Charger features a USB-A output for charging MP3 players, phones, digital cameras, and other devices with a USB power input - even while charging the camera or camcorder batteries. The battery adapter plates are easily interchangeable, so the charger can also be used with other batteries when paired with a dedicated battery plate, available separately.

I’ve been using this Watson charger with my DMW-BLK22 batteries, and it’s been a super handy and reliable addition to my kit. It’s compact enough to throw in a camera bag, but still gives you solid charging options whether you’re in the studio, at home, or out on a shoot. What I really like is the flexibility it provides. It can use wall power or a car adapter. It also has a USB-A port to top off other gear while your battery charges. I love that it can juice up my phone in a pinch. The fold-out plug and included Euro adapter make it travel-friendly, and it’s nice to have a dedicated charger that doesn’t require tying up the camera itself. You can also change out the plate so this charger can work with a variety of batteries, making it even more flexible and convenient. This charger is just a practical piece of gear to have on hand. It’s simple, reliable, and does exactly what you need it to do and more. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

Left a brand new battery in this brand new charger overnight and... half power in 7 hours. Is this thing on? I didn't check the charge level of the battery before charging it, so it actually might not have charged at all. The light on the unit is green, whether or not there is a battery in, which is strange. I would avoid.
