Love the Stream Deck +. Helps me control everything from an Elgato Key Light to apps on my Mac to custom scripts that help me interface with a digital sign across the room.

I was excited about this device after a quick demo at BILD but my goodness they did not do a great job setting expectations with how long this would take to setup. And once it's setup it's still unstable and now it takes LrC an extra 20-30 seconds to close because of the plug-in. Complete waste of money if you're looking to use this with LrC or even just basic Mac tasks. I'm sure there are specific use cases for these but after spending an extra $40 to be able to use it with LrC it's just an awful user experience. Biggest regret purchase of 2025 so far.

Yes, the Elgato Stream Deck + does allow you to set the device orientation and the buttons will adjust to the orientation setting you choose to work with.

The Elgato Stream Deck + has an extensive Macro system, that would allow you to assign functions to any of the buttons and control PTZ camera functions. Elgato says the dials can be used for adjust volume levels, image details, camera zoom, brightness, white balance, and much more.
