Is the black cap on the pneumatic cylinder removable? I can't fit the seat on.
Asked by: Kerry
It is removable. As mentioned, it can be done with a couple of clamps or wrenches. I managed to do it bare-handed by twisting and rocking it... but I'm stubborn. It's odd though... I've seen these caps on office chairs and such, they're usually just a thin cap. This one is clearly purpose-made, molded thick hard plastic. Seems very overpowered. Then again, it's the thing preventing the tube from extending in the package if it were to get bumped just right. who knows.

Can casters be added?
Asked by: Steve S.
I bought the table and stool together. The table had casters, and the stool had little feet. Didn't make sense to me so I put the casters on the stool, and the feet on the table. The casters are a standard, and you should be able to buy them at a hardware store. If you are going that route, get the casters before you assemble the stool and use them instead if the feet. Whatever you mount in the base will be almost impossible to remove.
