Celestron's Omni 12mm Eyepiece is designed for comfortable near and deep-space astronomical observation. It is engineered with a 4-element lens configuration, blackened edges, and anti-reflective fully multi-coated optical surfaces to ensure bright and clear high-contrast images with true color transmission across the entire 50° field of view. With a 1.25" diameter barrel, it will fit the most common size drawtubes, visual backs, and accessories. The housing is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy with a reflection-limiting matte anodized finish, and a fold-down eyecup make this eyepiece ideal for comfortable viewing for extended periods with or without eyewear.

Celestron Omni Reviews
A decent eyepiece for my use.
I am using the Celestron Omni 12mm Eyepiece, along with the Omni 40mm and 15mm, for public astronomy events. The 12mm has the shortest eye relief, but OK. Used with a flip mirror unit with my Nikon Z6III, which I use as an electronic eyepiece and short exposure (10 to 60 second) display.
Excellent mid range EP
I am just getting into telescopes and astronomy. I was happy with my cheap H25mm until i checked out this one. What a difference!! And not just in magnification but calarity!! All the posts and research i read stated that Plossl EP's where the way to go. It is like comparing apples and oranges to the one i had. Everything is crisp, i can definitley see more detail and allot more stars. Able to see Jupiter and the moons, not exactly clearly but was still very impressed with how it looked. I am already ordering more Celestron Plossl eyepices to include a 32mm, 9mm, and maybe another 25mm to replace the cheap H25mm i have.
