Celestron 93325 overview

  • 1Description

Celestron's Omni 40mm Eyepiece is designed for comfortable near and deep-space astronomical observation. It is engineered with a 4-element lens configuration, blackened edges, and anti-reflective fully multi-coated optical surfaces to ensure bright and clear high-contrast images with true color transmission across the entire 43° field of view. With a 1.25" diameter barrel, it will fit the most common size drawtubes, visual backs, and accessories; and a rubberized collar provides a non-slip grip. The housing is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy with a reflection-limiting matte anodized finish, and a fold-down eyecup make this eyepiece ideal for comfortable viewing for extended periods with or without eyewear.

    Celestron 93325 reviews

    Omni 40mm Eyepiece (1.25") is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buy the Omni 32mm instead This is an okay eyepiece but since the field of view is only 43 degrees it's virtually the same image as what you'll see with the 32mm Omni at 52 degrees. I purchased both of these before I realized this and now I only use the 32mm. There doesn't seem to be a point for the 40mm to exist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Top Quality Eyepiece from Celestron I use two of these eyepieces in my binocular viewer on my C-8 for terrestrial viewing. The images in stereo are fantastic! I've been looking at a nesting pair of bald eagles that are at least 1/4 mile away and these eyepieces really deliver with their clarity, brightness and sharpness. The best way to describe it is like walking into the National Geographic channel, especially when the air steadies after 4:00pm. People are amazed at the views. This is a terrific eyepiece for daytime viewing and, once again, a testament to Celestron quality. I am truly a lifetime Celestron fan!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's the first eyepiece I grab I needed a wide angle eyepiece to better locate the alignment stars and it works great. It's the first eyepiece I grab to aim the telescope and it is working for me. it's well constructed and looks good to. It has Plossl design optics and the rubber grip is a plus. I chose it for price and was not disappointed,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An open gate to the night sky With a quite impressive body size, compared to my old eyepieces, the view through is really impressive. It's just like if you were gazing directly at the sky, but with a lot of stars you woulnd't be able to see without. And for the moon, you simply feel as flying around. Very comfortable, you don't get tired looking through it. For the children, it's perfect because it is very easy to use (you can have both eyes wide open)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the money This eyepiece performs as advertised/expected. I would recommend it to anybody. I am using it with a 1200mm Orion Dobsonian reflector to give me 30x magnification. The original Orion eyepice is 28 mm, so this gives me a wider field of view.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great low power eyepiece I use this eyepiece to start out on all my observing sessions. I like the wide field at 50X that it gives on my C8SE. I will be buying another as a matching eyepiece to go into the binoviewer that I plan on buying soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Vast improvement At last, some decent lenses for viewing terrestrial objects and events. Crystal clear viewing. Original lenses were great for astronomical viewing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy for alignment Nice EP, handy for alignment and general observing. I mainly use this to get my finder dialed in and a basic alignment.
