Could be better for this price

I'm using this on an M3, and it fits perfectly and works well. However, it seemed to have some sort of oil around the edges that was difficult to clean. It's also pretty steeply priced for what it is, but I couldn't find a less expensive solution.

This diopter works and fits perfectly on the Leica M5. But it is a bit expensive.

No, this diopter does not fit the newer M10/11 models unless you use the 24001 thread adapter. The diopter you want to use without having to use an adapter is BH # LECLP3DPT, Leica # 24013 Correction lens II -3.0
