038 Double Super Clamp is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a Clamp I ordered two and B&H was nice enough to automatically send me a left and right, thank you! I know someone in another review mentioned that the two clamps were joined by two small screws and they didn't think that was as strong of a connection as it could be, so they ordered the stud as well. Frankly, these clamps only have a rating of something like 33 pounds (it's on the clamp and I'm going from memory). The screws are most likely more than adequate for that and you sort of have to remind yourself that even though the jaws look like something that could be used for a lot of weight, it's really not supposed to be used for more than the rated weight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great! I would give it 5 stars if it came with the double headed spigot build-in (B&H # MA013). I have purchased this in the past & it always came with the spigot along with 2 screws to increase the durability. I was surprised it didn't come with the unit so I hesitated to put anything heavy as I would normally do. I ended-up to purchase the spigots before I use the unit. Our photo gears are expensive enough to take any un-necessary risk with only 2 little screws to mount both clamps together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't know what I did without it. I have two of these now and love them. I us them for holding reflectors, backgrounds, scrims or just about anything that needs holding. I especially like using it to hold a background to a stand leaving the top of the stand open so that I can attach a hair light to it (great when shooting schools).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Manfrotto double super clamp Extremely well built doubld super clamp. Very useful for alternate mounting options of your lighting or video equipment. I use it with a monopod clamped onto a railing to have another secure way of mounting my camcorders without anybody tripping over it, compared to a traditional tripod mounted camcorder, where the legs of the tripod is very much susceptible to someone tripping over the legs of it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from strong many uses & attachments available This is an easy to operate double clamp. I bought it for use with a monopod to secure it to a railing and it works great. The safety lock button for the attachments is also a nice feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely done with Double Super Clamp I used 2 of these in combination with a heavy duty speaker stand to hold up a heavy demonstration board for a show. I am glad I knew about them from photography. It worked out perfectly.
