Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super-Versatile Small Flash Tool! I picked one of these up recently for use with my Nikon speedlights. Figured it would come in handy for times when I didn't want to use a stand, or just couldn't. I was right! I've been loving this thing! Paired with a simple umbrella/flash bracket, you can mount a small flash pretty much anywhere. My latest use was clamping an SB-800 to the side of a tree to throw a little fill on a car I was shooting. Worked perfectly! If you find yourself without anywhere to place a lightstand, but a convenient shelf/door/tree branch, this is the clamp you want.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile Versatile clamp with 1/4-20 threads to screw into on the top and a slot to snap/clamp threaded studs into. Works as described. The only feature that could be a bit of a problem is that the rubber in the jaws of the clamp isn't as grippy as I would have liked. I don't think it will grab onto the leg of my Carbon Fiber tripod without clamping down hard enough to possibly damage the Carbon Fiber.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The clamp & fiction arm great peformers I in a wheelchair ,and just brougth a pentax 645 which is a three pound camera, and needed a good mount .I got the manfrotto variable friction arm which mates up with the clamp. Both pefromed very well, just clamped it to my seat borad. I sent three hours in a local park bounceing along, the arm and clamp didn't move,or loosen up once.the camera was still secure. It also turned out to be a excellent mobile tripod, and the camera easily pops off for a free hand shot

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Clamp! I purchased this clamp to hold my DSLR on a table or pole, and with a tiny GoPro video camera. The clamp opens wide enough for 2 pipe, but also securely grabs a flat piece of metal. It works well for long exposures on the DSLR when you don't have a tripod. There are several options to attach the cameras to it. It is a bit heavy, but you can't have the same quality without added weight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Manfrotto Clamp I uses this to mount my camera in my bike using a magic arm. The clamp is okay for a while, the plastic lining inside the clamp helps not to create any scratches or damage, hence it don't get a tight grip. Hence I need to frequently adjust the clamp and reset it. Otherwise I didn't had any issues. Will be a great clamp for indoor and stationary application. When using (mounting a camera) outdoors on a moving object like my application, highly recommend to secure the camera with a cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, Bogen quality This clamp is fairly compact but still holds tightly and is well built. I bought this specifically to use from the top of my ladder in place of an expensive 12' tall tripod. To complicate things I do dusk HDR panoramas, so I need a firm mount. The clamp attaches to the top rung of my ladder tightly and on top of that I add the panorama head and my Canon 5D. It is a little bit sensitive to movement (will bounce for a few seconds if touched) but that was NOT because of the clamp or panorama head, the top rung of my ladder is relatively thin aluminum and had some give to it (I'm working on fixing that!). Even so the shots I have done have come out fine, and as it was dusk some of the exposures were around 20 seconds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got grip? I use this as part of my camera rig. I use three clamps that are attached to a 1 thick 10' long emt pole. Solid clamps, I would recommend these. Make sure you don't over tighten, these are strong enough to bend whatever you are clamping on to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The one and only Wherever you put it, you don't have to worry. Elegant design, does what it needs to when and where you want it...sometimes you need to think it through, but in the end the SuperClamp has a way to get the job done.
