    Manfrotto 2909 reviews

2909 Super Clamp with 2907 Reversible Short Stud is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong and durable This is a great product to have in your bag. It can be clamped to a table or round tube. When used with the 037 Reversible Short Stud, with 3/8 & 1/4-20 Threads you can mount a camera for still life photography. You can also use it to mount an umbrella, or a flash. It is extremely strong, so take precaution so you do not break whatever you are clamping it to (a table)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the Investment! Because this comes with a reversible 1/4 and 3/8's stud (which seats flush on the super clamp), this clamp is extremely versatile! You'll find that those two size screw heads have been very standardized in this industry! I personally use mine as a means to mount my Zoom H4N to surfaces (like the to my tripod leg, or atop a piano's music rack pointed down to capture audio). I have mounted my tripod head (which almost all tripod heads have a standardized 3/8 socket at the bottom) to tables and surfaces lower than my tripod will allow me to go! If you buy a 3/8 - 5/8 adapter, you extend the possibilities even more (think mic stand boom arms!) ...the list goes on and on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Clamp Gives you confidence that it's not going to fall off or lose its grip. Whilst it's slightly bulky, especially when packing it in a bag, it will hold a decent weight and not budge. It also feels weighty and built to last!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built to last but heavier than it looks Great for clamping flashes to various objects. Wish it came w/ a ballhead like the justin clamp which I think is flimsy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The gold standard for clamps This is the third pair of super clamps for me (and I use the micro clamps, too). I have a pair in daily use supporting Fiilex 360s in my office, and a pair that I often use to hold Sennheiser mics, and now a pair for whatever needs to be hung from my Matthpoles. Theyindispensibleare strong, easy to use, and with so many accessories, they are indispensable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent piece of equipment I use these clamps with Manfrotto 492 ball-heads to secure and position a dozen specialist cameras in a motion capture laboratory environment. It is very important to our experiments that the cameras do not move over extended periods of time. These solid and reliable clamps certainly fulifil that need while also being easy to reposition as needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from solid clamp The industry standard. Every photographer should have a few of these. We use them for hanging remote cameras and flashes and assembling backdrop. They have never broken. We bought the one with the short stud to use with the Paul Buff vagabond batteries and it works great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The SUPER Clamp! I was needing to add another clamp to my grip equipment kit and I was pleased that Manfrotto is still making the Super Clamp. My other Super Clamps must be at least 20 years old and still work beautifully. Thank you Manfrotto!
