The Tiffen 49mm Graduated 0.6 ND Filter is a graduated neutral density filter that helps to specifically darken skies and other bright areas of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a feathered line between the density and clear areas. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and the 0.6 density provides a 2 stop reduction in light from entering the lens.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting to precision metal rings.

0.6 ND graduated filter for darkening skies and other bright areas of the image.
Feathered edge is neither soft nor hard, providing a natural-appearing taper between the density and clear areas of the filter.
Neutral density filters do not affect the overall coloration of the image.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arrived in good order I had to wait some time for this product as it was on back order. B & H kept me updated with regular emails to inform me of the status of my order. When it arrived it was in perfect condition as expected. I fitted the filter to the lens and no problems as it was the correct one. I am looking forward to trying it out soon but have no doubt it will perform perfectly. Thanks B. & H for your service once again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good little filter I bought this to use with my Panasonic 20mm f1.7, I already had a 62mm and a 67mm ones that I could adapt, but the gradient cut wouldn't be enough because the lens element is too small. Having said that, the lens element on the 20mm is so small that even this filter doesn't cut it for it. But this is a problem for my application only, on the whole this filter is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from useful filter for outdoor use Very useful filter for bright outdoor scenes, and even for bright-moon photos (allows inclusion of foreground details in lower half.) Screws firmly onto lens, with ND half easily adjusted to any angle. Small size makes it handy to carry with photo kit. ND half does introduce some color bias, but this can be corrected in post.
