Got tired of the unreliability of wireless remotes and the MC-DC2 never fails. It's cheaply made but weight is important to me so I'm OK with plastic. I would buy again.

The Nikon MC-DC2 Remote Release Cord works like the shutter button. And if the shutter is set to shoot multiple times it will do the same.

The Nikon MC-DC2 Remote Release Cord is not an infrared remote release; it is designed to be plugged into the MC-DC2 terminal on the side of compatible Nikon DSLR cameras. If you have an inquiry concerning a particular remote, I would recommend sending an e-mail with the full brand/model of the remote in question, as well as the brand/model of the camera with which you will use the remote to [email protected] and we could then assist you with your inquiry.
