question

Is it compatible to use with Sony HDR-PJ790V camcorder?
Asked by: Anonymous
Your SONY camcorder is equipped with a 52mm front flt thread for accessories. This HD-6600PRO-37 will not fit as it is a 37mm size. This is a similar recommended wide-angle lens:The Raynox HDS-680 HD Wide Angle Conversion Lens 0.67x (B&H # RAHDS680) is specially designed for use with super wide-zoom lens incorporated AVCHD camera models. Just attach the HDS-680 to the front filter ring of a compatible camcorder's original lens or use one of the five adapter rings (27mm, 30mm, 30.5mm, 34mm, 43mm), and you're ready to capture those wide angle shots. The lens features 0.67x magnification and has 2 elements in 2 groups. It's particularly designed to be in focus through the whole zoom range of up to 10x. It even achieved a high resolution power of 375 L/mm at center (MTF30% designed figure). http://bhpho.to/1HqZluc

question

Dear users,Lumix GX85 / GX80 has a 37mm thread on its 12-32 OIS lens. Would it fit on it? (I think yes). Would it produce good quality pictures? Thank you for your feedbacks. :-)

Sorry, no this will not work on the Lumix GX85 / GX80. This conversion lens is meant only for camcorders. To get a wider field of view, you will need another lens. Here are two, non-fish eye, choices. Panasonic Lumix G Vario 7-14mm f/4.0 ASPH. Lens - Micro Four Thirds Format B&H # PA714GH1 and Rokinon 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS Lens for Micro Four Thirds Mount B&H # RO1028M43.

Will this work with the Fuji x100f If so, do I use the 37mm?
Asked by: James
Not that we are aware of. This product is designed for camcorders not Point and Shoot Cameras. Instead you would want to look at the FUJIFILM WCL-X100 II Wide Conversion Lens (Silver), B&H # FUWCLX100IIS, which is made specifically for the X100F. https://bhpho.to/2IzInVE

question

It's compatible with the SONY HDR-SR11/12?
Asked by: Carmelo P.
The filter specification for the Sony is 37mm and the Raynox converter is threaded for 37mm -- so it will fit. It's a passive lens, so if the threading is the same, which it appears to be, it will work on the Sony. However, on my camera, architectural and interior images captured through this adapter are only sharply focused in the central 30% of the picture. The adapter lens is probably most appropriate for outdoor work, where there are no nearby subjects in the frame that must be in focus, and where the image distortion towards the outside edges is less noticeable.
