Raynox HD-6600PRO Reviews
Unusable edge sharpness
I was very disappointed in the sharpness of the Raynox HD-6600PRO-37 wide angle conversion lens (0.66x). I purchased it to use on my Sony RX0 ii 4K video camera that has a fixed f4.0, 24mm equivalent lens. Although the lens exhibited minimal barrel distortion and no vignetting the sharpness at the edges of the frame was terrible. I'd describe it as fuzzy. I am returning this product for a refund. I recently purchased a Beastgrip x Kenko Pro Series 0.75x Wide-Angle Lens. Although not quite as wide as the Raynox, 0.75 vs. 0.66, it is very sharp edge-to-edge on a 6x9 4K video image and has minimal barrel distortion and only very slight chromatic aberration at the corners of the image.
Very good purchase
I noticed no distortion on the edges as in the lower priced lenses. also brings a lot more light into the frame, great wide angle! solid construction, has a bit of weight to it but that's how you know it's good! recommend it to anyone who's looking for a quality wide angle lens
