question
what's the difference between semi-matt and pearl finishes?
Semi Matt is closer to a matt finish than it is to glossy (my observation/opinion). I have never seen pearl in a fiber base paper, only in RC, and that has a more radiant or iridescent look.

question
I'm torn between getting Adox MCC 112 and the Ilford multigrade FB, semi-matte. Which would you suggest?
No experience with either; I am fond of Ilford Glossy Brilliant.
