  • E-TTL and E-TTL II for Canon Cameras
  • Supports HSS to 1/8000 Second
  • Fine Macro Mode for Precise Control
The Nissin MF18 Macro Ring Flash for Canon is a ringlight flash, specifically designed for use with Canon cameras with E-TTL and E-TTL II capabilities. Featuring a Fine Macro mode, this flash provides highly precise light control from 1/128 to 1/1204 in 1/6 EV steps, to achieve the greatest accuracy. The MF18 is high-speed sync (HSS) capable to 1/8000 second when shooting in TTL or Manual mode (1/1 to 1/64). HSS gives you the freedom to shoot with larger apertures when a shallow depth of field is desired, even when shooting in bright sunlight. When used in manual mode, the flash can be adjusted in 1/3 EV steps from full power down to 1/64th power. The tube flash design is divided in half, allowing you to vary light output depending on the lighting conditions. This design also works in conjunction with the expansion flash head, permitting use of this flash on lenses ranging from 49mm to 82mm in diameter. Specially constructed for the MF18, additional adapter rings can be purchased separately for lens sizes 49, 52, 55, 58, 62,67, 72, 77, and 82mm.

Does this flash need the 60mm adapter ring to be used in the Tamron SP 90mm f / 2.8 Di Macro?
Asked by: Jorge
The Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 VC USD Lens for Nikon F (B&H# TA9028SPN) has a 62mm front filter thread. Since this ring flash already includes a 62mm adapter, no additional adapter is required.
