The 58mm Screw-on Tulip Lens Hood from Sensei mounts onto your camera lens to prevent glare and lens flare by blocking out stray light. The lens hood also adds shock absorption to help protect your lens from impact damage. It easily screws onto any lens with a 58mm diameter and includes a locking collar for consistent positioning. As this lens hood can be used with lenses of varying focal lengths, its tulip shape is designed to prevent vignetting while still blocking unwanted light from entering your lens. The hood is ideal for full-frame lenses with focal lengths longer than 20mm, and APS-C lenses with focal lengths longer than 15mm.
- Fits Lenses with 58mm Filter Size

Sensei LHSC-58 Reviews
This lens hood is solid and fits perfectly. Highly recommend.
I have already noticed a difference on sunny days when I use this hood. It's great.
Amazing for the price
Amazing for the price. The threads are a bit loose but can't beat it for a toss in the bag and go.
Won't Be Using
Purchased for canon 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses, won't be using it on either of them. Lens cap does not stay in place (oh well), and has some vignetting on the wide end. Mounting method is relatively underwhelming. I would return them, but the return shipping price would cost me more than I paid.
Sturdy and effective in Field
The hood can take scrapes from concrete walls we work around and not look used. It required a few precise drops of "Tri-flow" lubricant on lens threads to firmly engage with the filter & lock into position. We have to film construction progress after work has stopped at 5-6 pm (when sun is low and prone to side light glare in the lens).
What can I say about this low tech purchase. Now my gadget bag Id complete and I'm ready for Acadia National Park. Extra memory cards and batteries ate all packed, as are the chargers. Andiamo!
good for its price
great starter piece! it works great, but you have to be careful when you focus the lens that it doesn't cause vignette. the only downside is that it's a screw-on and gets annoying unlike a clip on.
