Can you screw in your already existing polarizing filters into this adapter, or do you have to buy the Lee polarizer?

This is an adapter ring for use with the Lee filter holder and is not for attaching a filter to it. You need the filter holder and a Lee polarizer.

Does this work for the seven5 system? I bought a standard 72mm to seven5 adapter ring and got severe vignette at 16mm. Does anyone have any solution?

Unfortunately, this LEE Filters Adapter Ring - 72mm - for Wide Angle Lenses would not be compatible with the Seven5 filter holder. Im not aware of any 72mm adapter rings for that filter holder that would be specifically made for wide angle lenses. And, as 72mm appears to be the largest adapter ring, there wouldnt be the option to use a larger adapter ring with a step down ring. You might need to look at a different filter holder/system for your lens.
