The Luxbanx Duo Small Rectangular Softbox from Impact is a versatile 16 x 22" light-shaping tool for strobe, LED, and fluorescent lights. It has a heat-resistant, textured-silver interior so you can use it with quartz lights up to 750W. When using the Luxbanx Duo with strobes, attach the front diffuser and inner baffle for maximum softening of the output. When using it with hot lights, the inner baffle should be removed. Open face lights can be used as is, but it's recommended that you use the flood setting rather than spot on Fresnel sources. The softbox has four forward-opening vents to dissipate heat. Removing the front and inner diffuser essentially turns the Luxbanx Duo into a large reflector with maximum brightness and contrast.

According to the manufacturer, this softbox will only work with lights that have a removable speed ring such as those made for strobes or tungsten fixture.

Yes, the Impact Luxbanx Duo Small Rectangular Softbox (16 x 22 ) may be used with Canon or Nikon full-sized hot shoe flashes with the use of a compatible speed ring, such as either the Photoflex Adjustable Rotating ShoeMount System, B&H # PHRSMS, or the Chimera Speed Ring for Canon and Nikon, B&H # CHSRC540EZ. While Impact does not list the collapsed dimensions of the Impact Luxbanx Duo Small Rectangular Softbox, we have the shipping dimensions listed as 20.20 in x 9.30 in x 0.90 in (L x W x H), so the unit's collapsed dimensions should be slightly smaller than the aforementioned shipping dimensions.

The opening is large enough to fit a speed ring which is has a diameter of 7.5 . Unfortunately, it would not fit your Videssence lamp.
