Canon E-52 II reviews

E-52 II Lens Cap for 52mm Lens is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from its about time This is an item that should have been made 50 years ago. It is really a tremendous help if you want to place or remove the lens cap while the lens hood is in place. I tried the third party caps first because of the vast price reduction over the Canon brand, but the center walls of the pinch mechanism are to straight and your fingers tend to slip off. The Canon cap is much easier to hang on to. This is an excellent product but far to expensive and much too late in coming . Nikon has been making them for years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needed Cap for my 50mm 1.8 I lost my previous lens cap when I was location scouting and needed to replace it. This works perfectly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Canon parts price (too high) for plastic, but they got the design right. It is a delight to use both by pinching the sides (like before but better feel) or pinching in the center (what's new here) and the grip is good as opposed to previous crapo center pinch copycats I've used that would slip away from your fingers. Result: despite the price I upgraded all my lenses to these new Canon center-pinch caps and I love them..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's about time! Finally! Canon brings the Center Squeeze design lens cap to life! Hurray! This lens cap works on more than just EF-M lenses! I bought it to try on my Nifty Fifty (or thrifty fifty as some would call it) and it works perfectly! This is an absolutely must if you are in the market for a new lens cap. Or if you're like me and can't resist spending a B&H Gift Certificate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent build quality for what it is Using this on a found again canon fd lense from an AE-1 Program. Lost the original cover so this purchase was a must-have. This is just a lense cover after all, but I was surprised by the quality feel of it even so. It seems very well made, better than the original if memory serves. Mildly over engineered like a nice German car. All smiles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Of course it works! What can I say about something as minor as a lens cap? It's just a lens cap! However, when you don't have one, it seems like the biggest deal in the world to protect your lens. This one does the job perfectly. Don't be shy. If you need it, buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works better than expected I purchased this cap for my old lens which was manufactured by the third party. This works better than expected. Not only catching the thread of my filter well but also the outside diameter of this cap doesn't bother sliding hood of my lens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Convenient to Use Also reviewed the 58mm lens cap. The old caps are such a pain to take on and off with a lens hood. These new ones solve the problem. I am buying one for each of my 6 Canon lenses and tossing the originals. Well worth the money!
