My original cap fell off while boarding a bus. Never found it. This one is identical to the original and fits perfectly. You can't go wrong with the original Canon part.

It's a great lens cap. It covers and protects my lens, and keeps the dirt, dust, and fingerprints off of it. Works as advertised.

With this style you can incert and remove with the lens shade in place. I like that feature a lot.

I lost my original cap, and I think a generic cap looks cheap, so I bought an original cap. I am happy that I bought this, now it looks like it is suppose to.

I lost my cap walking though a field checking Bluebird boxes, never found it. To be able to get a new one with no hazel is great. Put you order in and a few days later you have it.

Well designed, as the tabs are deep enough that you can actually hold it while attaching or removing. I have these on all of my Canon lenses.

Replace your OEM lens cap with this!

The best front lens caps are made by Canon, Fujifilm and Sony. If you have a lens made by anyone else, I highly recommend replacing it with one of these. Not all the manufacturers make front lens caps in all the sizes, so if you are looking for a specific size that one of these does not make, check if one of the others makes it.

Yes it will fit any lens that has a filter size of 52mm. However beware that this cap is thick and it will increase the size of a pancake lens.
