Canon 6555B001 reviews

E-72 II 72mm Lens Cap is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 92.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like it very much I accidentally left my sigma cap for my sigma 17-70mm lens in Vietnam. I wanted to buy a sigma brand at first but somehow, it was more expensive than a canon brand. Also twice as much. I figured since all my gears are canons so why not. Anyhow, long story short, I like it. It does the job and it does it well. I do like the newer design than the old canon lens cap. However, i do noticed something. if I have don't have the polarized filter on the lens, the cap snap on smoothly and it fit tight. if I do have the polarized filter on, the cap does not snap on as smooth. But over all, I don't have a problem. And for the price, i think around$, its a deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a tough cap... My toddler pulled my camera off a shelf by the strap and while fortunately it missed his foot, it crashed onto the tile floor lens cap first. The filter under the cap shattered, but the lens cap itself emerged perfectly intact! This is one tough lens cap, worth getting for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced all my lens caps with these. Since all my lenses were bought back before the lens cap redesign, I didn't get to play with a new Canon lens cap until I re-purchased a 24LII earlier this year. These new lens caps have a higher tension and teeth that have more bite resulting in asecure hold I've never experienced in other lens caps. The new center pinch mechanism makes lens cap removal and placement in deep lens hood designs easy. Replaced the lens caps on the rest of my lenses as a result.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lens cap works just fine I needed a cap. I looked locally to no avail. My last resort was B&H which should have been my first choice. You sales person's response was friendly and at the same time professional. Next time B&H gets the call first. Marty S

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Groundbreaking This product is truly grounbreaking. Before I got a lens cap my lens was uncovered. I don't know how I lived without it. Now my lens is safe at all times. The only thing I can't figure out is why all my pictures are so dark now. I am shooting on the highest ISO with the longest shutter times and the pictures all come out just black. Maybe someone can help me out with this?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Canon Lens Cap - Center Squeeze The center squeeze snap-on design is so much better that the design with the outside mounted push buttons. The overall design seems to stay put better than the older design. I don't find the lens caps with this design to be dislodged in the camera bag (or carrying it outside). I especially like the way the lens cap releases when the lens has a hood in place. You can stick your hand into the hood and get to the release easily. It can be very annoying to try to get the classic our one off quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the original style! Finally Canon updated their lens caps to the center pinch style. Much easier to put on and take off with lens hoods in place than the original style lens caps. More secure and substantially better built. Replace your caps - you won't regret it!
