That variable ND filter fits on the lens just fine, but the front is a new and bigger size. Read and measure that front ring, then order the matching size cap. Sometimes the hood won't fit with the special filter on, and we NEED the cap.
Had an aftermarket cap, very loose fit, this replaced it perfectly
