- Also Compatible with Quartz Lights
- Maximum Quartz Wattage: 750W
- Heat-Resistant Textured Silver Interior
The Luxbanx Duo Small Square Softbox from Impact is a versatile 16 x 16" light-shaping tool for strobe, LED, and fluorescent lights. It has a heat-resistant, textured-silver interior so you can use it with quartz lights up to 750W. When using the Luxbanx Duo with strobes, attach the front diffuser and inner baffle for maximum softening of the output. When using it with hot lights, the inner baffle should be removed. Open face lights can be used as is, but it's recommended that you use the flood setting rather than spot on Fresnel sources. The softbox has four forward-opening vents to dissipate heat. Removing the front and inner diffuser essentially turns the Luxbanx Duo into a large reflector with maximum brightness and contrast.

Does this have a quick opening style for on location work?
No, the Impact Luxbanx Duo Small Square Softbox (16 x 16") is not a quick-open softbox. For a rapid box, you could consider the Westcott Rapid Box Switch Strip Softbox 1 x 2 (BH # WE2524). Please note that you will need to buy the ring for the light that you will use it on.

question
I am buying a 16 x 16 LED panel. Would this fit?
No, it would not. The Impact Luxbanx Duo Small Square Softbox (16 x 16 ) is designed for use with light fixtures that use a standard speedring connector, and LED panels do not use speedrings, so the above option would not work for your needs.
