Pretty simple stuff, and priced accordingly, for once. It's a good, solid speedring that works well for my old octaboxes and other softboxes that I've used with speedlights. Even though there are numbered reference points on the speedring, I'd recommend that they color-code them for easier, speedier identification. A couple of magic markers or drops of paint should do the trick.

question
Does this ring works on the Impact Qualite 300 V-2012 Focusing Flood Light (300W/120V) .I only got the product for this light, i just received the package at home, but the outside of the speed ring, the part that should fit in the light is so much smaller and it doesn't fit at all. Any help ?
I got the ring for use with Paul Buff White Lightning series of lights, and it works allright--though the ring is heavy and bulky, made of metal. Not sure about your lights.

question
Will this work with Elinchrom Portalite softboxes?
Unfortunately, this ring is not compatible with Elinchrom Portalite softboxes. However, a ring that will fit those softboxes would be the Elinchrom Rotalux Speed Ring Adapter for Alien Bee, White Lightening and Balcar, B&H # EL26534

question
I'm trying to set up the Photoflex Half Dome (Small) on this speeding, but the half dome is coming out skewed (not a perfect rectangle). Does anybody have an idea which mounting holes I should be using (narrow or regular strip), and if there's anything else I might need to do to avoid the skew? Thanks
The strip box, Photoflex Small Half Dome with (9.5 x 35 x 17.5 ) needs to use the holes marked B on the speedring.
