Purchased this type of filter to get back into IR photography. You will find that this filter is the one for your digital camera. Just remember, you will have to experiment to get the correct exposures. You will get some really bad pics or some really fantastic good ones.

Does what it says, I use it on my Fujifilm XT2 with Fujifilm 35mm F2. Had to buy a step up ring but works perfect. I bought this with rewards points that I got from BH for buying the XT2 from them. Great camera, great lens, great company. It gave an old man another reason to get out and take photos.

Product works well on Leica M8

Given the sensitivity of the Leica M8 to infrared, the use of this filter works well to capture infrared images. In Lightroom (or any other raw editor), you simply convert the image to greyscale and adjust the magenta to suit your tastes. Try it.

Great IR filter. Used with Ilford SFX 200 and got some really good results. It was, unfortunately, cloudy (and has been), but even with the clouds blocking some IR light, the image still retained the great IR looks.

question

Hi, I have a Zeiss 35mm biogon lens that I use most of the time which requires a 43mm filter. The problem is I cant find a 43mm R72 infrared filter. Would it be possible to use the 46mm?
