- Fully Multi-Coated Optics
- Wide Angle Viewing: 61°
- Short 5.3' Close Focus Distance
Leica puts a new spin on their perennial favorite, the 10x42 Trinovid HD Binoculars with phase corrected prisms, coated with highly reflective multi-coatings to increase reflectivity and anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics to boost light transmission through the lenses. These optical coatings work together to produce high-contrast images with true color rendition and minimal distortion. This optical performance is coupled with a powerful 10x magnification, wide apparent angle of view and generous eye relief to produce an immersive viewing experience.

the strap is in the box: if you didn't receive it, please call customer service.

Which bino is a lighter, smaller item for hiking and 1000meter distance
The distance of 1,000 meters is over ½ mile. You made a good choice with the Leica. You may want to consider a binocular that is 10x32, which will have the same magnification but will be smaller and lighter. The ZEISS 10x32 Conquest HD (B&H# ZE10X32C) or the Leica 10x32 Trinovid HD (B&H# LE10X32THDB) are great choices.

Are the eyecups removable for ease of cleaning?
The eyecups are removable. However, I do not suggest removing them for the purpose of cleaning. They were designed to be removed for replacement if damaged, lost or loss of their cushioning.
