Inspired by their iconic full-sized counterpart, the Leica 10x25 Trinovid BCA Binocular delivers the performance users have come to expect from the brand, but in a highly portable and easy-to-carry design. It is designed with a combination of phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms, the proprietary HighLux system, and HDC fully multi-coated optics to produce bright and clear color-neutral images, while fitting comfortably in the hand for long, fatigue-free glassing sessions. The HDC coatings add abrasion-resistance to protect the exterior lens surfaces, and the lenses are also treated with AquaDura coatings which make it easy to clean dirt, grime, oils, sap, and fingerprints without leaving residues that can interfere with views.

Designed to easily fit in a pocket, pack, or purse, the binocular is made with a dual-hinge system that allows the optical tubes to fold and tuck under the closed bridge to ensure the smallest form factor when fully closed. This also provides a wide interpupillary distance adjustment for easier use by those with narrow faces — like children and adolescents. Helping to reduce the weight to a mere 9 ounces is an aluminum alloy chassis that is wrapped in a protective slip-resistant armor for a more comfortable feel in the hand. Light, compact, and easy-to-use while delivering bright and clear images, the Trinovid BCA is made to be your constant companion on the trail, at the stadium, or sightseeing around the world.

Optical Performance
  • Powerful 10x magnification allows for detailed observations of distant subjects
  • Compact 25mm objective lenses ensure slim optical tubes to maintain a compact form
  • BAK4 roof prisms deliver a round exit pupil, and a crisp and clear image with limited edge distortion
  • P40 phase-correcting prism coatings increase light transmission while improving contrast and clarity
  • HDC fully multi-coated system has abrasion-resistant and anti-reflection properties to protect exterior lens surfaces, and improve light transmission and contrast
  • HighLux-System (HLS) maximizes light throughput to improve color rendition and contrast
  • Hydrophobic AquaDura coating on external optical surfaces allows dirt, dust, and fingerprints to be removed easily
Use and Handling
  • Closed-bridge/dual-hinge configuration provides a sturdy platform for the internal focusing mechanism
  • Textured low-profile center focusing wheel helps to maintain an overall compact form
  • Wide 32-74mm interpupillary distance range accommodates use by a wide variety of users — especially those with narrow faces like children and adolescents
  • ±3.5 right-eye dioptric correction allows user to compensate for optical prescription
  • Twist-up rubber eyecups for comfortable use with or without eyewear
  • 14.6mm eye relief
  • 2.5mm exit pupil

10x25 Trinovid BCA Binocular is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The ultimate in a compact binocular! This is the ultimate in a compact binocular with the famous Leica lens quality! These are lightweight, small, and fit on your belt so are easy to take to the opera or symphony as well as on a walk or hike to look at a bird or other wildlife. As with all Leica equipment, they are very expensive, but the lens sharpness and quality are unparalleled. The rear lens rubber eyepieces collapse to the standard distance for use with glasses, which I don't need, but it has been an asset to my friends with glasses. The focal length is longer than most opera glasses, but this gives you a great, close-up view.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome glass!! Being a Zeiss snob (I own Victory 10x binoculars) I purchased Zeiss Conquest 10x25s for my daugthers, who have a hard time holding the heavier Victory pair, expecting that the lighter Conquests would be good for their hands. However, the Conquests have rigid rubber eyecups, which do not fold back, so clarity is poor. I bought the Leica Trinovid 10x25 as a substitute and my girls, and myself, were amazed how good these binoculars are. I had never really considered Leica before, but will definitely compare Leica with other products in future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leica Compact BCA 10X25 Binocular These are fantastic binoculars. Compared to my extremely sharp, but much bigger and much heavier Zeiss 7X50's they actually show more detail except in dim light. I added a pair of Bushwacker brand number 3 rifle scope covers $7.50 each for protection of the objective lenses so I can carry them without worry under my coat without the case. The scope caps are a very snug fit, but open and close at a touch once installed. Although I had read reviews stating that they were difficult to hold steady this was not a problem at all for me. As a cruising sailor living in Alaska I will take them when I go ashore in the dinghy in summer for wildlife viewing and birding, and will use them for hunting in the mountains in fall and winter. I can't imagine a better binocular for my purposes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from superb and very packable Used these on a trip to Europe. Used for standard outside viewing you would expect but also could they were indispensable in basilicas museums etc. At St Peters the ability to actually view the ceilings was a game changer. The fact that they fit in the breast pocket of my jacket meant they were always with me. they might not be waterproof in the classical sense but for any reasonable activity they are great. one of the most useful items I purchased for a three week trip

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Eyeglass Wearer I needed a high quality compact pair of binoculars to put in my vehicle. I have owned a pair of 8X20 B Leica for over 30 years and wanted something a little more powerful. Same great quality and ease of use. Price in today's marketplace is actually a good value for the best. Good quality case for carrying on belt when needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They know the product I lost a pair of binoculars I've had for years. Carried them everywhere... trips, shows and plays. When I called B&H I knew the brand, type and size. I gave them a brand and magnification. when I began to describe them the sales person not only understood and listened, but indicated what I was wanting to replace. He was right the first time. I bought the glasses.. and what he suggested was correct. I would go to them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only binoculars I would consider for hiking and travel. The binoculars art compact and light weight and have an amazing lens clarity. I look through them everything is magnified but I have no sense of looking through lenses because the image is so crystal clear. I bought my first pair in 1985 and had them stolen in Italy this April. the first thing I did when i got home was to order a new pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent portable pair of binoculars I purchased these binoculars to use for bird watching when I don't want to haul my canon 50D, 400 mm lens and tripod around. I find the resolution and brightness to be excellent. In fact, there are times when I think that the image through these is better than with my 50D and sigma 400 f5.6 apo macro. Build quality is superb. Also, I was concerned about the focus distance, but they seem to focus much closer than the 16.4' specifications suggest (although I have not measured it yet). I wish the focus knob was a little bigger/had deeper ridges so that I could turn it more easily with one finger. Focusing from a close up object to a distant object does take several turns of the focus knob. Also, when folded up, these have about the same footprint as an iphone4. I greatly enjoy these binoculars and would highly recommend them.
