The Silkray 400 Bi-Color LED Panel Light from Dracast is a 11.8 x 8.3 x 0.6" aluminum-framed fixture that weighs 3.0 lb and features 5600K daylight-balanced color temperature to match other fixtures or ambient light conditions. Brightness is adjustable from 0-100% with the dimming level displayed on the panel's digital readout. The Silkray's 168 LEDs have a high CRI of 96+ for color accuracy and they draw 40W while outputting many times that number in tungsten fixture equivalence for a rapid return on your investment. Running barely warm to the touch, you can bring the light very close to the talent without discomfort and danger, and, at only a little over 1/2" thick, it can be placed in tight situations where legacy fixtures just can't go.

question

Not enough info in the description. What is the beam angle? And you should include the distance for the lux rating
Asked by: Steve
I'm not 100% on the beam angle, but I tend to angle it about 30 toward the subject to get the best lighting for my personal needs. The distance between the subject and the light (on the highest setting) does need to be quite close, within a foot to my experience, otherwise it doesn't cast enough brightness to light the subject (human). I do like the ability to change the color cast as needed. In the future I would buy one with a much higher brightness rating. This one is just a little too weak for my uses.

question

What does the 4000 lux rating mean? Is that at 1 foot or 1 meter... ?
