can the Wimberley 200-II Gimbol head be mounted on this tripod?
The Befree has a standard 3/8-16 mounting thread, and I have used different heads on mine. Your Wimberley Gimbal head should have that same standard thread so I see no reason why it cannot be mounted on this tripod. The only downside is that this tripod comes with a 494 ball head which you will remove, and unless you have some other use for it, you might want to consider a travel tripod that comes without a head (B&H lists 54 of them).

Anyone tested this tripod with the Peak Design clip (v3). They say it is arc-style compatible but wanted real-world testing?
The Peak Design PL-S-3 Standard Plate on the Peak Design Clip V3 isn't compatible with the Manfrotto Befree Advanced Travel Aluminum Tripod with 494 Ball Head (Lever Locks, Black). The Manfrotto tripod isn't compatible with Arca-style plates; rather, the quick-release plate included with it is compatible with Arca-style clamps and heads.

I have a Nikon D750 with a 200-500mm lens, will this tripod support this?
Specifications say that it supports 17.6 lb. I have used mine with a large format rail camera that weighs over 10 lb, and it has handled that load very well. I normally use it with a medium format film camera too. I don't particularly like this ball head as it can sometimes be a bit squirrelly with a heavier camera.
